On Location
On-Set Production Services in Saudi Arabia
Shooting across Saudi Arabia means working with many settings. There are several distinct worlds here β the gleaming urban sprawl of Riyadh and Jeddah, the vast silence of the Empty Quarter, the coastal light of the Red Sea, and the steep cliffs of the Asir highlands. Our crews bring the tech depth each place needs. We supply camera packages, lighting rigs, grip, and sound teams. We tune each one to your script, your schedule, and your locations. We keep the set moving from first call to wrap.
Crews scaled to the shoot, not a template β lean enough to move through Jeddah souks, technical enough for high-end work in NEOM and AlUla.
Our Camera & Cinematography work covers a lot. It spans single-camera narrative shoots to Multi-Camera Shoots for live events and broadcast. For aerial coverage over the dunes of the Rub' al Khali or the sweep of NEOM, our Drone Videography operators hold the right clearances and fly with care. Lighting & Grip rounds out the tech picture. Our Gaffer & Lighting Team works across interior studio builds and tough exterior conditions. They adapt to Saudi Arabia's strong ambient light and extreme heat swings. The look never suffers.
FAQs
Production FAQs
Common questions about our production services, crew availability, and equipment support.
What crew sizes can you provide for productions in Saudi Arabia?
We handle projects from two-person documentary shoots to 150-person feature units. Commercial work usually runs 15 to 30 staff. That covers a DP and camera team, a gaffer with two electrics, a key grip with a swing, a sound mixer, a boom op, plus art department and HMU. We've crewed Netflix series with full Saudi units. We've also run single-day corporate interviews with just a shooter and audio. Our network scales to fit.
How quickly can you mobilize a crew in Saudi Arabia?
Riyadh-based crew can often mobilize within 24β48 hours for urgent jobs. We've pulled together same-day news crews when stories break. Regional shoots need more runway. Plan for 5β7 days minimum outside major cities. The real limit is usually gear from rental houses, not crew. With 2β3 weeks of notice, we can build the right team, not just the ready one.
Do your crews speak English?
Our department heads speak fluent English. That includes DPs, gaffers, sound mixers, and 1st ADs. Most have worked on shoots abroad. We treat English as a baseline for our network. Grips, electrics, and PAs vary, but each team always has someone who can translate. For fully Arabic shoots, we have native crews in every department.
Can you provide equipment along with crew?
We work with TSF, Panavision Riyadh, RVZ, and other Saudi rental houses daily. Most gear packages come with their own crew. The gaffer runs the lighting gear. The DP picks the camera gear. For global shoots that bring their own kit, we handle customs and carnet records. We deliver gear tested and prepped to set. We never send gear to set without a checkout.
How do Saudi crew rates compare to other countries?
Saudi rates reflect the kingdom's premium setup. There is no income tax, which keeps crew costs simple. We quote all-in prices so there are no surprises. On longer shoots, Saudi Film Commission incentives can offset qualifying spend.
