SCENE 01 / WIRELESS AUDIO SYSTEMS

Wireless Audio Systems in Saudi Arabia

Professional wireless microphones and RF coordination for productions throughout Saudi Arabia.

Scroll

Wireless audio systems send mic signals, intercom feeds, and tracking audio with no cables. We set up frequencies that meet CITC rules across Saudi sites. We manage RF in extreme desert heat. We make sure all wireless gear meets local import and license rules. Digital wireless gives clean, reliable audio. Talent can move freely. Sound crews stay nimble on tricky sets.

We source wireless audio systems with the channel count and frequency planning your shoot needs across Saudi Arabia. Our team scans the range to meet CITC Saudi rules. We handle system setup and backup gear. This keeps your wireless audio clear of interference, no matter how hard the site.

CST-permitted RF coordination across Lectrosonics, Wisycom, Sennheiser Digital 6000

Wireless audio in Saudi Arabia runs under the CST (Communications, Space and Technology Commission) frequency regime. Unlicensed bands (2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz) cover Sidus Link, CRMX wireless DMX, and consumer Wi-Fi-spec systems. But shoot wireless mics, IFB, and IEM systems use TV-white-space (470-694 MHz) and set-aside production bands. These need CST permits filed 7-14 days before the shoot. Our RF coordinators hold standing permit ties with CST. They keep backup frequency lists for AlUla (RCU adjacent airspace), NEOM (special economic zone — its own range slot), and the Riyadh/Jeddah urban core. The gear standard is set. We use Lectrosonics SRc / DSR4 / Venue 2 receivers with SMV/SMQV/SSM body packs. We carry Wisycom MTP41S / MCR42S (a deep European-spec roster — Polly Morgan's department on Desert Warrior ran heavy Wisycom). We run Sennheiser Digital 6000 EM 6000 receivers with SK6000/SKM6000 transmitters at the MBC Studios + NEOM Bajdah tier. We deploy Shure Axient Digital AD4 / ADX2 for bigger live events at Riyadh Season + MDLBEAST Soundstorm scale.

Live event RF planning scales hard around the Saudi calendar. MDLBEAST Soundstorm December (largest Middle East EDM festival, Banban) deploys 40-60 wireless channels. These span the Mainstage + Big Beast + Sirius stages with full Wireless Workbench / Wisycom Manager planning. Riyadh Season + Boulevard City + Boulevard World annual events stack 80-120 channels across many stages at once. We set up through Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) for venue access and General Entertainment Authority (GEA) for performer licensing, alongside CST range. F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Jeddah Corniche Circuit and Saudi Cup horse race deploy 30-50 RF channels. These carry commentary, IFB, and pit-lane comms. Hajj broadcast (Mecca, off-limits to global Muslim TV networks) runs its own range planning under General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM). We deploy IFB (Comtek M-216, Lectrosonics IFB, Shure PSM1000) for talent earpieces and director comms across all these formats.

FAQ

Wireless Equipment Inventory

What wireless systems do you provide?

We give pro wireless systems from top makers. These include Lectrosonics (Digital Hybrid, DSQD), Wisycom (MCR series), Sennheiser (Digital 6000, EW series), and Audio Ltd (A10). The right system depends on your shoot's needs, budget, and work site.

How do you handle frequency coordination in Saudi Arabia?

We plan frequencies to meet Saudi RF rules (ANFR). We scan the range at your sites. We plan around other shoots that share venues. We make sure you stay within licensed frequency bands. We handle the tech side. Your shoot stays legal and clear of interference.

What lavalier microphones do you recommend?

We give top lavaliers from DPA (4060, 4061, 6060), Sanken (COS-11), and Countryman (B6). The right mic depends on the job. We pick based on how well it hides, how it sounds, and how it works with wardrobe and talent.

Can you support large multi-channel productions?

Yes. We often support shoots that need 20, 30, or 40+ wireless channels. This covers feature films, big commercials, and live events. We give frequency planning, enough receivers, backup systems, and skilled operators. They run even the most complex wireless setups.

What about IFB and communication systems?

We give IFB (interruptible foldback) systems for talent earpieces, director comms, and live broadcast use. This covers Comtek, Lectrosonics IFB, and Shure PSM systems. We set them up with your shoot's wireless mic frequencies.

Do wireless systems come with operators?

You can rent wireless gear on its own or with skilled sound teams who run all of it. For complex setups, we advise adding operators. They focus on RF planning and talent wiring.

Productions in Saudi Arabia that need this often pair it with Boom Operators, Sound Recordist Teams, and Location Sound Services for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Wireless Microphone Systems and Wireless Systems.
