Casting Directors
Pro casting in Saudi Arabia's fast-growing entertainment sector. We link shoots with the Kingdom's new talent and regional performers.
A casting director picks the actors who bring a script's roles to life. Saudi Arabia's entertainment scene is in a big shift under Vision 2030. Riyadh and Jeddah are growing into major production hubs. New training programs and cultural groups build the Kingdom's new acting talent. The wider Saudi and Gulf diaspora adds more performers skilled in Arabic-language drama and global shoots.
We link you with casting directors who know Saudi Arabia's shifting talent scene. Our network covers the new hubs of Riyadh and Jeddah. We tap Saudi Film Commission resources and regional talent agencies across the Gulf. We source performers from the Kingdom's growing acting pool. We also source skilled Arab actors based in the wider region.

Why Us
Why Choose Our Casting Directors
01.
Local Talent Expertise
Our casting directors are building ties with Saudi Arabia's new acting talent. This includes performers from new cultural programs and the Kingdom's growing theater scene. We also reach skilled Arab actors from across the Gulf, Egypt, and the Levant who work in the Saudi market.
02.
International Production Experience
Our casting directors have worked shoots at NEOM, AlUla, and across Saudi Arabia's varied landscapes. They know the cultural rules, permit needs, and shoot logistics of working in the Kingdom.
03.
Local Knowledge
We know the casting communities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and the new production regions of NEOM and AlUla. We set up auditions at pro venues. We handle the Saudi Film Commission's talent sign-up systems across the Kingdom's fast-growing production setup.
04.
Bilingual Casting Capability
We focus on Arabic-English bilingual casting. We source performers fluent in both Gulf Arabic and English. Saudi Arabia's diverse expat population also adds performers fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, and other languages for varied casting needs.

Saudi casting from Mila Al Zahrani and Telfaz11 ensemble to AlUla international fly-in talent
Our Saudi casting directors keep working rosters across the kingdom's fast-growing talent pool. These include Mila Al Zahrani (The Perfect Candidate 2019, dir. Haifaa al-Mansour) and Waad Mohammed (Wadjda 2012 first Saudi feature). They also cover Fatima Al-Banawi and Hisham Fageeh (Barakah Meets Barakah 2016, dir. Mahmoud Sabbagh). And they cover the Telfaz11 ensemble behind Sattar (2022 Saudi box-office record, dir. Ali Kalthami). That cast includes Fahad Albutairi, Saeed Saleh, Khalid Saqer, Sumayya Sabbagh, and Bayan Al-Zahrani. We set up auditions through MBC Studios Riyadh and Jeddah and Telfaz11 Studios casting facilities. We also use Manga Productions Riyadh for anime voice work on Future Folktales and Saud Rises. We handle global fly-in casting on Kandahar (Gerard Butler 2023 AlUla + NEOM), Desert Warrior (Anthony Mackie 2024 AlUla, dir. Rupert Wyatt), Cherry (Apple TV+), and Born a King (2019). This routes through Dubai-based agencies (Talent Bank Dubai, Filmworks Dubai). It also routes reciprocal SAG-AFTRA, BECTU UK, and DGA forms via Entertainment Partners ME payroll bureaus.
Extras casting and background work feeds from Saudi Arabia's multilingual workforce. We tap Arabic-primary speakers across Najdi (Riyadh), Hejazi (Jeddah), and Eastern (Dammam/AlKhobar) dialects. We also tap English, Urdu (large Pakistani expat pool — drivers, runners, background talent), Filipino, Hindi, Bengali, Tagalog, and Indonesian speakers. Casting compliance routes through GCAM (General Commission for Audiovisual Media — content + type G/PG/PG12/PG15/R15/R18) and GEA (General Entertainment Authority — performer registry + live event licensing). Saudi Arabia has no domestic film actor union. Performer buy-in runs through Ministry of Human Resources work permits and GOSI sign-ups. Saudization Nitaqat quotas affect the 5% rebates uplift on Cultural Development Fund's 40% cash rebates. We brief talent on modest dress code needs for domestic broadcast (managed via costume design — no female skin exposure on domestic networks). We also brief them on prayer-time pauses five times daily that affect call sheets. And we brief them on Ramadan iftar-to-suhoor 9pm-2am peak shoot windows. Effat University Jeddah (first Saudi women's film school program), Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, and King Saud University Riyadh feed the next-generation pipeline. NYU / USC / AFI / UCLA / Falmouth / NFTS UK Saudi alumni returning post-2018 add to that pool.

FAQ
Casting Expertise
What types of casting do you handle?
We give full casting services. This covers principal roles (leads, supporting), day players, background artists, and specialty casting (stunts, dancers, musicians). Our casting directors have worked across features, television, commercials, and branded content.
Can you find bilingual actors in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Our database has Saudi and Gulf-region actors fluent in Arabic and English. Saudi Arabia's global workforce also adds performers fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, and other languages. We source talent for set Arabic dialect needs, such as Gulf, Egyptian, and Levantine.
How do you handle auditions?
We give flexible audition options. These include in-person sessions at pro casting venues in Riyadh and Jeddah. We also offer self-tape planning with quality checks and live video auditions for remote directors. All sessions can be recorded for review.
What about background and extras casting?
We keep databases of background artists across Saudi Arabia. We can source set types, looks, and skills as needed. For large crowd scenes, we run casting calls. We manage extras on shoot days through our AD network.
How far in advance should we start casting?
For principal roles on features, start 8-12 weeks before shooting. This allows time for submissions, auditions, callbacks, and deals. Supporting roles need 4-6 weeks. Background casting can be set up faster, mostly 2-3 weeks.
Do you handle talent contracts and negotiations?
Yes. Our casting directors work with agents and managers on deals. We make sure terms fit your budget. We also meet Saudi industry standards and Saudi Film Commission needs. We work with your production legal team to finalize contracts.
