Monitor & Video Village in Saudi Arabia

Professional on-set monitoring and video village solutions for film and TV production in Saudi Arabia.

Scroll

A video village is one central viewing station. Directors, clients, and department heads watch live camera feeds there. They review and make calls in real time. Each setup has large monitors, signal routing, wireless receivers, and a comfortable place to sit.

We design and deliver video village setups to fit your viewing needs and set layout. Our team handles monitor calibration, signal routing, and furniture. Your video village works and feels comfortable from the first day of principal photography.

Teradek Bolt 6 wireless video, TVLogic LVM displays, and QTake playback packages built for MBC Studios stages, NEOM Bajdah LED Volume, and AlUla shade-tent exteriors.

We build Saudi video village setups around the gear MBC Studios in Riyadh and Jeddah runs as standard. That means Teradek Bolt 6 LT and Bolt 4K wireless transmitters with multi-camera receiver farms. We add TVLogic LVM-181S 17-inch and 24-inch director references. We add Atomos Sumo and Shogun Studio 2 monitor-recorders. For premium feature work, we add Sony BVM-HX310 OLED HDR references. QTake Server playback stations give instant replay and VFX reference overlay. Clear-Com FreeSpeak II and Riedel Bolero intercom packages tie director-to-set comms into the monitoring stack. CST (Communications, Space and Technology Commission) wireless licensing covers each Teradek block, alongside audio wireless and IFB. NEOM Bajdah Studios' 9,000 m² stage build runs its own video village rigs. These are sized for the LED Volume virtual production workflow. We cross-source overflow through Filmquip Dubai and Picture Works Dubai via the 12-hour E11 highway corridor.

Several shows have leaned on shade-tent video village setups. They include Kandahar's NEOM build, Desert Warrior's AlUla mobile rigs, Cherry's Apple TV+ AlUla unit, and the Telfaz11 commercial pipeline. The reason is simple. AlUla canyon glare and Empty Quarter direct sun both push past standard LCD brightness limits. Our coordinators spec climate-controlled tents with portable AC units. These run on Aggreko Saudi or Cummins power packs (220V/60Hz Saudi standard). We add sun-readable monitor placement and haboob covers on each display. Fine quartz dust gets into screen surfaces and causes lasting damage. Remote-producer feeds bridge back to Riyadh post houses via Telos and Comrex codec links. We trialled Starlink at NEOM for low-latency cloud-side viewing. ATA carnet processing through Saudi Customs (ZATCA) at RUH, JED, or ULH keeps zero customs duty on short-term import.

FAQ

Video Village Expertise

What does a complete video village setup include?

A full video village has several parts. It includes reference monitors (mostly 17-32 inch) and a director's monitor station. It adds a client viewing area with comfortable seating. For exteriors, it has a weather tent. It also has wireless video receivers, a playback system, and a link to production comms. We scale the setup to match your needs.

What wireless video systems do you provide?

We supply pro wireless video. This includes Teradek Bolt 4K systems, multi-camera receivers, and long-range setups. They support up to 4K with very low latency. We place antennas to suit your location challenges.

Can you support remote client viewing?

Yes. We give remote viewing so agency and studio clients can watch from afar. Options include secure streaming, dedicated lines, and recorded dailies sent out with timecode reference.

How do you handle exterior video village setups?

For exterior shoots, we give weather-proof tents with climate control. We add generator power, sun-readable monitors, and tidy cable runs. Our outdoor video villages stay comfortable and keep working in many conditions.

What about playback capabilities?

We give pro playback systems. They offer instant replay, multi-take review, and frame-accurate control. Playback feeds your video village monitors. It can add VFX reference overlay and script supervisor tools.

Can you calibrate monitors to our color pipeline?

Yes. We calibrate reference monitors to your color standards. We can load your show LUT for a true on-set preview. The video village displays show your intended look, so your creative calls stay accurate.

Productions in Saudi Arabia that need this often pair it with Wireless Video Systems and Field Monitors for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Communication Systems and Audio Monitoring Equipment.
