DIT carts, Codex offload workflows, and LTO-9 archive packages built around AWS Saudi Region, NDMO data-residency rules, and the MBC Studios post pipeline.

We build Saudi DIT and data-management packages around the workflows MBC Studios, Telfaz11, and NEOM XR Lab already run in-house. Codex Capture Drive offloads from ARRI Alexa 35 and Alexa Mini LF bodies. RED Mini-Mag pipelines run from V-Raptor and Komodo packages. Sony AXS Memory ingest comes from VENICE 2 shoots. All of it feeds Pomfort Silverstack and Codex Vault stations on production-built DIT carts. We cross-source those carts through Filmquip Dubai or Picture Works Dubai when MBC's in-house kit is on a competing booking. LTO-9 archive is the Saudi standard for masters. Our team stages dual-copy LTO with hash-checked offsite copies. These run through AWS Saudi Region (opened in Riyadh 2024) or Google Cloud Dammam Region for shoots that need cloud-mirrored dailies. We plan data residency alongside CITC and NDMO (National Data Management Office) rules. This covers any shoot tied to royal commission, GEA, or defense-adjacent content. Government-anchored shoots in AlUla and NEOM more and more carry sovereign data clauses.

Kandahar at NEOM, Desert Warrior at AlUla, and Cherry's Apple TV+ pickup units all leaned on hybrid Saudi-Dubai DIT pipelines. Dailies are encoded on cart in 220V/60Hz-rated workstations. We then mirror them across the E11 corridor to Picture Works Dubai for a second-copy archive within a 24-hour window. Our coordinators map DaVinci Resolve Live grading sessions, on-set CDL passes, and ALE/EDL handoffs into the Saudization (Nitaqat) hire plan. Saudi-national DITs and loaders then qualify the shoot for the 5% rebates uplift. That sits on top of the headline 40% cash incentive run by the Saudi Film Commission. Heat is the silent budget line. Codex drives and BlackMagic disk arrays throttle past 45°C. So we always spec AC-trailer DIT setups for AlUla summer shoots (June-September daytime highs of 45-50°C).
