What equipment do you have available?
We source from TSF, Panavision Riyadh, RVZ, and other major Saudi rental houses. Today's stock holds the ARRI Alexa 35 and Mini LF. It holds the RED V-RAPTOR and Komodo. It holds the Sony VENICE 2. We add a full lens range, from Zeiss Supreme to Cooke S7 to Angenieux zooms. Lighting runs from ARRI SkyPanel X to M-series HMIs to Astera tubes. Audio is Lectrosonics, Wisycom, and Sound Devices. If it is in pro use, we can get it.
Do you provide technical support during the shoot?
We give phone support for all packages. Our techs stand ready on set to build tricky rigs. The camera prep happens the day before, so the AC team is ready for the shoot. We do not send untested gear to set. If something fails on the shoot, Riyadh rental houses can mostly swap units the same day. Regional shoots are harder, so we add backup gear for anything mission-critical.
Can you create custom equipment packages?
That is the default. DPs spec their camera packages. Gaffers pull their lighting orders. Sound mixers pick their wireless frequencies. We line up all the departments so the kit works as a whole. We match power draws to power pack size. We confirm lens coverage for the sensor. We make sure wireless audio and video do not clash. The package fits the show, not the other way around.
What is included with equipment rental?
Batteries come charged and tested. Media cards come formatted. We bring cables and adapters for whatever you plug into. Cases protect gear in transit. We add expendables like gels and diffusion on request. We carry backup camera bodies and backup audio transmitters. They save the day when Murphy's Law kicks in. We give setup help and walkthroughs for crew new to a piece of gear.
How does pricing and insurance work?
Saudi rental houses charge daily rates. Weekly bookings get a discount from the fourth or fifth day of rental. We quote in USD, all-in except for damage waivers. The gear needs production insurance. We accept most global policies. Saudi houses need to see the certificate before they release the gear. Deposits vary. Basic packages need little to no deposit. High-value lenses and specialty items need larger ones.
