Skilled production office management keeps your Saudi shoot organized and on schedule.
Production planning in Saudi Arabia needs deep local know-how. Our coordinators know the vendors, the logistics networks, and the admin systems. They run the day-to-day backbone of your shoot. That means paperwork, travel plans, gear rentals, and cross-team contact. They cover Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla and beyond. They work hand in hand with production managers and line producers. Each practical detail stays in order. Small slips never grow into costly delays.
NeedAFixer's Saudi Arabia network connects you with sharp coordinators. They bring tight organization and local know-how to each job. They keep set relationships with the Saudi Film Commission and local vendors. That gives you smooth logistics for features, series, and ads. We cover the work from pre-production through wrap.

On Location
Saudi production coordination — call sheets, deal memos, GOSI payroll, Saudization compliance tracking
Our Saudi production coordinators run offices across many sites. These include Riyadh JAX District (Diriyah arts hub), NEOM Bajdah Studios production offices, MBC Studios Riyadh and Jeddah, Telfaz11 Studios (Sattar 2022 Saudi box-office record dir. Ali Kalthami), and Manga Productions Riyadh (Saudi-Japan Toei Animation JV — Future Folktales, Saud Rises). We have run recent global planning on big titles. These include Kandahar (Gerard Butler 2023 AlUla + NEOM $43M dir. Ric Roman Waugh), Desert Warrior (Anthony Mackie 2024 AlUla dir. Rupert Wyatt), Cherry (Apple TV+ AlUla), and Born a King (2019). That work covered bilingual Arabic / English call sheets, Movie Magic Scheduling stripboards, and ShotGrid daily updates. It also covered deal memo distribution and crew lodging booking. Lodging spans Riyadh Boulevard Hilton, Four Seasons Riyadh, and Ritz-Carlton Jeddah for RSIFF press windows. For AlUla shoots, it spans Habitas AlUla / Banyan Tree AlUla / Shaden Resort AlUla. We book Saudia / Riyadh Air flights. Almajdouie Logistics handles ground transport. Sunday-Thursday workweek call sheets are standard. The Friday-Saturday weekend has been GCC-aligned since 2013.
We track compliance on every front. GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) payroll sign-ups are required. Saudization Nitaqat quotas matter too: Saudi-national hires per firm drive a 5% rebates uplift on the Cultural Development Fund's 40% cash rebates (35% base + 5% Saudization). Expat crew need Ministry of Human Resources work permits. Iqama residency permits are needed for stays over 90 days. There is 15% VAT, recoverable for global shoots via ZATCA. The SAR is pegged 3.75:1 to USD. There is zero personal income tax. Production cover comes from Tawuniya / Bupa Arabia / Walaa Insurance / AXA Cooperative. The permit chain runs deep. It covers the Saudi Film Commission (Ministry of Culture), the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), the NEOM authority, and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC). It also covers GCAM (General Commission for Audiovisual Media) type, GACA drone permits, Saudi Civil Defense for stunts/SFX/pyro, and the GEA performer registry. The schedule plans around five daily prayer-time pauses (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) plus Friday ~12:00-13:30. Ramadan brings iftar-to-suhoor 9pm-2am peak production windows. June-September means 45-50°C extreme heat, so AC trailer / shade tent budget line items apply. We plan SFDA halal craft catering. A modest dress code applies for female on-camera talent on domestic broadcast. There is no domestic Saudi production coordinator union. Global DGA / DGGB work routes via Dubai EPS bureaus.
