Makeup Artists
Pro hair and makeup artists for the Kingdom's fast growing film scene. We bring desert-tested skills.
A makeup artist designs and applies looks for on-screen talent. These range from soft beauty looks to bold character changes and prosthetic effects. Saudi Arabia's young film scene draws on the region's rich beauty roots. These run from old Arabian cosmetics like kohl, oud-based perfume, and henna art to the modern luxury beauty market in Riyadh and Jeddah. The Kingdom's Vision 2030 spending on film is fast building top-tier makeup skills.
We connect you with makeup artists skilled in Saudi Arabian shoots. They work across Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, and NEOM. Our network has pros from Jax Film Studios, NEOM Studios, and Film AlUla locations. They are skilled in harsh desert heat. Temperatures top 50°C, with blowing sand and strong UV rays. These demand the most heat-proof products and tight scene matching steps in the trade.

Why Us
Why Choose Our Makeup Artists
01.
Arabian Beauty Heritage
Our makeup artists know Arabian beauty roots well. This includes kohl, henna art, and luxury skincare based on oud and rose. They blend these cultural touches with global shoot standards. This serves the Kingdom's growing film scene.
02.
Extreme Desert Heat Mastery
Saudi Arabia's desert climate is the top heat test. Temperatures top 50°C and sandstorms hit hard. Our artists use heavy-duty heat-proof products and sand-proof blends. They also use cooled-tent steps to hold looks in harsh heat.
03.
Nabataean & Arabian Heritage Looks
The Kingdom's old heritage sits at Hegra (AlUla), Diriyah, and historic Jeddah. These give period settings from the Nabataean age through the Islamic golden age and the Saudi founding era. Our artists build period looks that respect the culture and stay true to history.
04.
40% Rebate & New Infrastructure
Saudi Arabia offers 40% cash rebates. Its studio setup at NEOM, Jax, and PlayMaker is growing fast. This makes it a strong choice for shoots. Our artists work next to the Kingdom's top-tier new sites and a growing global crew base.

Saudi makeup HoDs — RSIFF + Riyadh Fashion Week pipeline, heritage Bedouin and AlUla period work
Our Saudi makeup HoDs work across many events. These include Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF, Jeddah, annual since 2021, chairman Mohammed Al Turki) red-carpet ceremonies at Ritz-Carlton + Al-Balad. They also cover Riyadh Fashion Week (launched 2023). There they serve Mohammed Ashi (Ashi Studio Riyadh-Paris haute couture, Chambre Syndicale member) and Honayda Serafi runway crews. They staff MDLBEAST Soundstorm artist trailers, the largest Middle East EDM festival each December. They also did production work on Kandahar (Gerard Butler 2023 AlUla + NEOM), Desert Warrior (Anthony Mackie 2024 AlUla, dir. Rupert Wyatt), Sattar (Telfaz11 2022 Saudi box-office record), The Perfect Candidate (dir. Haifaa al-Mansour), and Barakah Meets Barakah (dir. Mahmoud Sabbagh). MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, and regional Huda Beauty (Dubai-based, dominant in Saudi market) supply kits. We set up Saudi-resident actor talent. This includes Mila Al Zahrani, Waad Mohammed, Fatima Al-Banawi, Hisham Fageeh, Fahad Albutairi, and Saeed Saleh. We pair them with global fly-in talent (Gerard Butler, Anthony Mackie). We bring scene matching-grade records and dailies-coordinated touch-up cycles.
Heritage period work is a big part of this. Think Saudi National Day (Sept 23), Founding Day (Feb 22), and Bedouin-tribal Najdi / Hejazi / Tihama / Asiri / Hasawi regional dress accuracy. The Nabataean Hegra UNESCO 2008 period drives AlUla shoots. This needs reference briefing from National Museum of Saudi Arabia Riyadh and Ministry of Culture period archives. Climate shapes our plan too. June-September 45-50°C heat needs heat-stable formulas and frequent touch-ups. AlUla cool desert nights in winter run 5-10°C and need hydrating prep. The Red Sea coast hits 70-90% humidity in summer and needs setting spray steps. Compliance runs through the GEA performer registry, GCAM type, Ministry of Human Resources work permits, GOSI payroll sign-ups, 15% VAT, and Saudization Nitaqat quotas. Five daily prayer-time pauses shift chair schedules. Ramadan iftar-to-suhoor 9pm-2am production windows move trailer call times. SFDA halal craft catering is the norm. There is no home Saudi makeup union. Global IATSE Local 706 ties route back via Dubai EPS bureaus (Entertainment Partners ME, Talent Bank Dubai). Effat University Jeddah cinematic arts program and Telfaz11 in-house training feed the next-generation pipeline.

FAQ
Hair & Makeup Expertise
What makeup services do you provide?
We give full makeup services. This covers beauty makeup, character and change makeup, prosthetics, special effects makeup, and period looks. Our artists in Saudi Arabia work across features, TV, and commercials. They also serve the fast growing number of shoots drawn by the Kingdom's 40% rebates.
Do you provide hair styling as well?
Yes, we give full hair and makeup teams. Our hair stylists handle all needs. This means cutting, coloring, wig fitting, period hairstyles, and daily upkeep. They work with care for cultural ways and modesty rules that matter on Saudi shoots.
Can you handle period productions?
Yes, our artists build period looks for Saudi Arabia's rich heritage. These span the old Nabataean age at AlUla through the founding of the Saudi state at Diriyah. They study the look of each era. They work within cultural rules for a respectful take on the past.
What about special effects makeup?
We work with skilled SFX makeup artists. They handle prosthetics, creature effects, aging, injuries, and change makeup. NEOM Studios and Jax Studios have growing SFX skills. We link up with global labs for tricky prosthetic work when needed.
How do you handle large cast productions?
For shoots with large lead casts or big background needs, we mix local Saudi talent with skilled global artists. The Kingdom has 65+ production firms and a growing crew base. This gives a wider talent pool for large-scale shoots.
Do you provide makeup tests before production?
Yes, we set up makeup and hair tests in pre-production. We build and refine looks, test products under camera, and log scene matching notes. Testing in the Saudi desert is key. It proves that products hold up against harsh heat and sand.
