SCENE 01 / POST PRODUCTION AUDIO
Post-Production Audio in Saudi Arabia
Professional sound editing, ADR, Foley, and mixing for film and TV productions.
Post-prod audio turns raw location sound into a polished, rich soundtrack. Saudi Arabia has new studios, like NEOM and MBC Studios. We connect you with engineers skilled in Arabic and many-language post-prod. This phase covers dialogue editing, ADR, sound design, Foley, music scoring, and final mixing. These parts work together. They build a layered audio experience that lifts the visual story.
We connect you with post-prod audio rooms and engineers across Saudi Arabia. They deliver broadcast and cinema-grade results. Our team runs the full audio post flow, from dialogue cleanup to final mix. We work with NEOM Studios, MBC Studios, and audio post rooms in Riyadh and Jeddah. We make sure your project meets tech delivery needs and creative goals.

Atmos mix rooms, Arabic ADR stages, foley pits at MBC and NEOM Bajdah
Saudi audio post setups grew fast during 2019-2024. They back the home feature slate. Sattar broke the Saudi box-office record in 2022. Barakah Meets Barakah, Wadjda, The Perfect Candidate, and Scales set up the auteur tier. They also back the global slate: Kandahar, Desert Warrior, Cherry (partial AlUla), and Born a King. MBC Studios Riyadh and Jeddah run Dolby Atmos-certified dub stages. These use Avid S6 consoles, Pro Tools HDX, Avid MTRX I/O, and 9.1.6 tracking. NEOM Bajdah Studios holds a like Atmos-spec dub room for in-house work. Manga Productions is a Saudi-Japan anime JV with Toei Animation. It runs a real-time anime audio pipeline with Japanese-trained engineers. This helps when shoots need Arabic and Japanese versions at the same time. Telfaz11 and Big Time Studios both keep post audio rooms for narrative work. Arabic ADR talent and direction sit mostly in Riyadh (MBC's Studio City) and Jeddah. Capacity is growing at JAX District Diriyah, the arts hub next to UNESCO Diriyah Al-Turaif.
Foley stages, sound design, and Arabic localization workflows tie into the wider Saudi content scene. Saudi Music Commission programs feed players of the oud, nay, qanun, and Bedouin percussion into score and source-music work. The Ithra King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in Dhahran hosts the Saudi Film Festival, the oldest in the kingdom, since 2008. It gives documentary-grade Foley and sound design rooms. Cultural Development Fund rebates can cover post audio. The work must be done inside Saudi at registered rooms. The project must also meet Saudization Nitaqat hiring thresholds. The 35% base plus 5% Saudi content uplift applies to Arabic-version ADR, mix, and master delivery. Multi-language versioning is standard: Arabic (Saudi/Khaleeji and MSA), English (UK and US delivery splits), French (Maghreb markets), and Urdu/Hindi (expat audience). We handle Saudi Broadcasting Corporation and Al Arabiya loudness specs (EBU R 128 / ATSC A/85) in-house as a matter of course.
