SCENE 01 / SPECIALTY RIGS
Specialty Camera Rigs in Saudi Arabia
Advanced rigging solutions for your Saudi production.
Specialty rigs are car platforms built to mount cameras. They capture fast driving, chase, and motion shots. The range runs from Russian arms and camera cars to process trailers and insert cars. These rigs let you shoot complex moving shots. Standard gear cannot match them.
We source specialty camera rigs and cars from skilled local operators. They know the safety and tech needs of car-mounted filming. Our team sets up rig stock, tech specs, and logistics. That way your unit can shoot fast car sequences in a safe, smooth way.

On Location
Russian Arm camera cars, Ultimate Arm crash housings, and Bickers Action stunt rigs shipped cross-border from Filmquip Dubai for AlUla, NEOM, and Empty Quarter sequences.
We source Saudi specialty camera-car and stunt-rig packages from Dubai. Most come across the 12-hour E11 highway corridor from Filmquip Dubai, Picture Works Dubai, and Roundabout Productions Dubai. These include Russian Arm and Ultimate Arm telescopic crane cars built on Toyota Land Cruiser and Mercedes G-Wagon chassis. They also include MotoCrane Ultra and Stab-C remote-head packages, plus Black Arm and Scorpio 23 stabilised arms. We fly in Bickers Action UK stunt cars via Emirates SkyCargo from DXB to RUH or AlUla International (ULH). This happens when MBC Studios' Riyadh and Jeddah stock runs short. Camera-car work in NEOM and AlUla mostly pairs a Filmquip Russian Arm with a Saudi-supplied Toyota Land Cruiser tow chase. Process-trailer builds for in-car dialogue scenes route through MBC's home transport pool. Helicopter aerial work pairs Saudi Aviation Services and Sabre Aviation (NEOM-dedicated) with Falcon Aviation. We bring Falcon cross-border from Abu Dhabi for top-grade gyro-stabilised mount work.
Kandahar's NEOM chase sequences, Desert Warrior's AlUla stunt work, and Cherry's Apple TV+ AlUla unit have all leaned on Filmquip-supplied Russian Arms. The Empty Quarter dune ridges and AlUla wadi floors need telescopic-arm reach. Saudi-home stock does not yet cover that at scale. Our coordinators handle ATA carnet work through Saudi Customs (ZATCA). This runs at Riyadh King Khalid (RUH), Jeddah King Abdulaziz (JED), or AlUla International (ULH) for cross-border rig moves. Almajdouie Logistics covers ground transit. Saudi customs-bonded carriers handle the secure transfers. GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) sign-off is needed for any aerial-rigged or helicopter camera work. Separate authorities rule each airspace. AlUla needs RCU clearance, NEOM needs NEOM authority sign-off, and so does any path toward Mecca, Medina, or military exclusion zones. Heat plans for 45-50°C summer shoots and haboob safety routines anchor each booking.
FAQ

What vehicle rigs do you provide?
We supply Russian arms, pursuit arms, and full chase car setups for car work. Our rigs hold many camera packages. They give smooth, lively movement while you shoot driving scenes.
Can you provide cable cam systems?
Yes, we give cable cam and wire cam systems for aerial shots. They span many distances and heights. They give smooth side-to-side and up-down movement for sports, events, and film work.
What motion control options are available?
We give motion control systems with set-to-program heads and Bolt-style arms. They make exact, repeatable camera moves. These are key for VFX work, product shots, and complex set-piece scenes.
Do you build custom rigs?
Yes, our grip and rigging team can design and build custom mounts for one-off shot needs. From POV cameras to crash housings, we build rigs for shots that standard gear cannot reach.
