Advanced rigging solutions for your Saudi production.

Scroll

Here is how this works in practice. Specialty rigs are purpose-built car platforms designed for mounting cameras and capturing dynamic driving, chase, and motion sequences. From Russian arms and camera cars to process trailers and insert cars, these rigs enable complex moving shots that would be impossible with standard gear.

Here is the short of it. We source specialty camera rigs and cars from skilled local operators who know the safety and tech needs of car-mounted filming. Our team sets up rig availability, tech specs, and logistics to make sure your unit can capture dynamic vehicular sequences safely and efficiently.

On Location

Russian Arm camera cars, Ultimate Arm crash housings, and Bickers Action stunt rigs shipped cross-border from Filmquip Dubai for AlUla, NEOM, and Empty Quarter sequences.

We source Saudi specialty camera-car and stunt-rig packages primarily from Dubai. The 12-hour E11 highway corridor connects to Filmquip Dubai, Picture Works Dubai, and Roundabout Productions Dubai.

The fleet is deep. Russian Arm and Ultimate Arm telescopic crane cars build on Toyota Land Cruiser and Mercedes G-Wagon chassis. We also run MotoCrane Ultra and Stab-C remote-head packages, plus Black Arm and Scorpio 23 stabilised arms. Bickers Action UK stunt cars fly in via Emirates SkyCargo from DXB to RUH or AlUla Global (ULH). These come into play when MBC Studios' Riyadh and Jeddah inventories run short.

Here is how this works in practice. Camera-car work in NEOM and AlUla mostly pairs a Filmquip Russian Arm with a Saudi-supplied Toyota Land Cruiser tow chase. Process-trailer builds for in-car dialogue scenes route through MBC's domestic transport pool. Helicopter aerial work pairs Saudi Aviation Services and Sabre Aviation (NEOM-dedicated) with Falcon Aviation cross-border from Abu Dhabi for top gyro-stabilised mount work.

Here is the short of it. Several major shoots have used Filmquip-supplied Russian Arms. Kandahar's NEOM chase sequences, Desert Warrior's AlUla stunt work, and Cherry's Apple TV+ AlUla unit all leaned on them. The Empty Quarter dune ridges and AlUla wadi floors demand telescopic-arm reach that Saudi-domestic inventory does not yet cover at scale.

Here is the breakdown. Our coordinators handle ATA carnet processing through Saudi Customs (ZATCA). Cross-border specialty-rig moves clear at Riyadh King Khalid (RUH), Jeddah King Abdulaziz (JED), or AlUla Global (ULH). Almajdouie Logistics covers ground transit. Saudi customs-bonded carriers handle secure transfers.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) certification is required for any aerial-rigged or helicopter camera work. Authority jurisdictions split by zone. AlUla airspace needs RCU clearance, NEOM airspace needs NEOM authority approval, and any way toward Mecca, Medina, or military exclusion zones is off-limits. Heat planning for 45-50°C summer schedules and haboob protection routines anchor each booking.
