SCENE 01 / PRODUCTION VEHICLES
Production Vehicles in Saudi Arabia
Complete vehicle fleet for your Saudi production.
Here is how this works in practice. Production cars have the trucks, vans, trailers, and support cars that keep a film crew operational on location. Gear trucks, wardrobe trailers, cast motorhomes, and catering cars form the mobile infrastructure that supports each department across a shooting schedule.
Here is the short of it. We source and set up production car packages from local fleet providers, matching car types and quantities to your production's scale. Our team handles permits, parking arrangements, and scheduling logistics so your car fleet supports smooth daily operations at each location.

On Location
Toyota Land Cruiser fleets, Mercedes Sprinter crew vans, and Saudi-spec 4×4 packages routed through Almajdouie Logistics for Riyadh, AlUla, and Empty Quarter shoots.
We set up Saudi production fleets around the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series and Hilux 4x4 backbone. That sites dominates each desert shoot.
Here is how this works in practice. Several major shoots leaned heavily on Saudi-spec Land Cruisers. Examples have Wadjda's Riyadh exteriors, Kandahar's NEOM convoy work, Desert Warrior's AlUla scenes, and Cherry's Apple TV+ AlUla unit. The high-elevation HVAC, sand-rated air intakes, and reinforced suspension handle Empty Quarter dune work that wrecks softer SUVs.
Crew transport runs on many sites. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans come in 10-pax and 16-pax configurations. Ford Transit and Hyundai Staria handle mid-size packages. The Nissan Patrol Y62 supports second-unit work. Mitsubishi L200 and Ford F-150 4x4 cover grip and camera-truck duties.
Camera-cars mostly run Russian Arm rigs. They ship cross-border from Filmquip Dubai via the 12-hour E11 highway corridor. That kit handles AlUla and NEOM stunt sequences needing top mounting.
Logistics route through national operators. Almajdouie Logistics handles Saudi customs-bonded car moves. GCC Land cross-border permits cover Dubai-to-Riyadh gear transit.
Saudi production driving etiquette shapes each fleet plan. Left-hand drive and right-side road use are standard. Briefings run in Najdi dialect for the predominantly Saudi and Pakistani driver community that handles MBC's transport pool.
Here is the short of it. Our coordinators stage AC-trailer support across AlUla and Empty Quarter summer schedules. June-September 45-50°C highs throttle car electronics and degrade tyre rubber fast. Haboob-protection covers are staged at production base for sudden sandstorm exposure.
Here is the breakdown. Royal commission shoots in NEOM and AlUla need extra clearances. RCU (Royal Commission for AlUla) or NEOM authority transport clearances come on top of standard GACA permits. That applies for any aerial-rigged camera car work. Saudization (Nitaqat) hiring of Saudi-national drivers qualifies shoots for the 5% rebates uplift on the 40% Saudi Film Commission cash rebates.
