On Location
Title design and end credits across Riyadh and Jeddah — bilingual Arabic-English title sequences for Red Sea International Film Festival features, MBC drama, Shahid VIP and Netflix MENA originals, with right-to-left Arabic typography expertise.
We pair title designers with motion designers. They work on Adobe After Effects (titles base), Cinema 4D (3D type and camera work), Foundry Nuke (precise compositing for high-end feature title sequences), Adobe Illustrator (vector type design), and FontLab / Glyphs (for custom Arabic display font work when bespoke type is part of the brief). Bilingual Arabic-English title sequences are the Saudi specialty. Right-to-left text, letter-shaping by position (first / medial / final / isolated forms), mixing with Latin scripts, Kashida elongation, ligatures, and Tatweel justification all need a careful hand. We work with Arabic-trained typographers. We use display fonts from 29LT Bukra, Boutros, AlMohanad, Tasmeem, and Adobe Arabic, plus custom-made wordmarks. End credits run as OpenType-shaped Arabic right-aligned with English left-aligned dual columns. Or they stack with language separators, per Red Sea International Film Festival, Saudi Film Festival Dhahran (Ithra), and AlUla Film Awards rules.
Saudi Arabia's title-design roots track the post-2018 narrative film revival. Telfaz11's Sattar (2022) used a modern bilingual title package. Haifaa al-Mansour's Wadjda (2012) set the modern Saudi-feature title look. It paired Arabic Kufic display type with Latin sans-serif. Shahad Ameen's Scales went stylised and poetic. Mahmoud Sabbagh's Barakah Meets Barakah (2016) used graphic-novel-style titles. Global features wrap at AlUla too. Kandahar (2023, Gerard Butler), Desert Warrior (2024, Anthony Mackie), Cherry (Apple TV+, partial AlUla), and Hellraiser plates mostly commission title design from LA / London / Sydney shops. But they need Arabic-localised credit versions for MENA area release. We deliver title packages for theatrical (DCP via SMPTE for AMC Saudi Arabia, VOX Cinemas, Muvi Cinemas, Empire Cinemas). We cover broadcast (AS-11 MXF for MBC and Saudi Broadcasting Corporation). We cover streaming (IMF for Shahid VIP, StarzPlay Arabia, Netflix MENA, Amazon Prime Video Arabia, Apple TV+ Arabic, Disney+ MENA). And we cover festival prints (RSIFF, Saudi Film Festival Dhahran, AlUla Film Awards). We bill in SAR, add 15% VAT, and run a Sunday-Thursday workweek.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in a title sequence package?
Most packages cover concept work, style frames, and storyboards. They also include animation, music sync guidance, and delivery in many formats. We work with you the whole way. We make sure the final sequence captures your vision and lifts your production.
Can you handle union credit requirements?
Yes. We know guild and union credit needs well. This covers WGA, DGA, SAG-AFTRA, and IATSE specs. We set the right credit order, sizing, and timing. We still keep a creative look. We can work with your legal team to check compliance.
How long does title design take?
Timing depends on how hard the work is. A simple lower thirds package might take a week. A rich main title sequence could need several weeks to months. We set clear milestones. We keep you in the loop to meet your shoot dates.
Do you create titles for international versions?
Yes. We design title systems that adapt to many languages and markets. We build flexible templates. We manage text reflow for different character counts. We make sure the result fits each culture. We can deliver localized versions for any area.
