We build DCPs at MBC Studios Riyadh, Telfaz11, and Pixomondo Riyadh finishing rooms. We use Doremi DCP, Qube Master, Sony DCP creation tools, and easyDCP. We wrap JPEG 2000 picture at 250 Mbps for 2K and 500 Mbps for 4K. This pairs with PCM 24-bit 48 kHz audio in 5.1, 7.1, or Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 setups. SMPTE DCP is the standard format for theatrical release in Saudi Arabia. It replaces the old Interop DCP. It uses DCI-P3 color in XYZ space, plus Rec.2020 gamut metadata for HDR-capable auditoriums. KDM (Key Delivery Message) generation handles per-cinema, per-server encryption. Saudi Film Festival Dhahran (since 2008) runs at Ithra King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture. AlUla Film Awards and Joy Forum Riyadh are now top DCP venues too, next to the commercial circuit.
