Senior colorists in Riyadh and Jeddah delivering DaVinci Resolve and Baselight grades for Red Sea International Film Festival theatrical, Shahid VIP originals, Netflix MENA Dolby Vision masters, and AlUla feature pipelines.
We connect shoots with senior colorists across the region. They work out of MBC Studios Riyadh, Telfaz11, Pixomondo Riyadh, and Image Production House Dubai for cross-border Saudi-Emirati work. We also tap ARRI Rental London / Munich when global features need finishing partners. DaVinci Resolve Studio is the main grading tool, with full Mini Panel and Advanced Panel setups. Baselight (FilmLight) runs at MBC's flagship suite and a few premium boutiques. Mistika Boutique shows up at some VFX-heavy sites. We grade in ACES from set CDLs to final Dolby Vision and HDR10+ trims. For streaming HDR work we use calibrated Sony BVM-HX310 and Flanders Scientific reference displays at 1000 nits. For theatrical grading and RSIFF DCP review we use Christie or Barco DLP projection at 14fL DCI-P3. Saudi grading often draws on the country's sandstone, ochre, deep-shadow palette. Think AlUla's Hegra rock-cut tombs, Wadi Al-Disah valleys, Empty Quarter dunes, Riyadh skyline blue hour, and Jeddah Old Town (Al-Balad) UNESCO heritage stone. Colorists balance real desert sun against studio-controlled NEOM XR Lab LED Volume environments.
Saudi Arabia's color heritage runs deep. It flows through MBC Group's broadcast pipeline. It flows through Manga Productions Riyadh's Saudi-Japan animation slate, with anime LUT pipelines trained at Toei Animation Japan. It flows through Telfaz11's narrative work, including the Sattar 2022 box-office record. Global features shot at AlUla and NEOM too. Kandahar (2023, Gerard Butler), Desert Warrior (2024, Anthony Mackie), Cherry (Apple TV+, partial AlUla), and Hellraiser 2022 plates mostly finish overseas. But they swap CDL and LMT data with Saudi DITs. We deliver Dolby Vision masters for Apple TV+ Arabic and Netflix MENA. We deliver HDR10+ for Amazon Prime Video Arabia. We deliver HLG for HDR broadcast on MBC and Saudi Broadcasting Corporation. We deliver DCI-P3 24fps theatrical DCPs for AMC Saudi Arabia, VOX Cinemas, Muvi Cinemas, and Empire Cinemas. These reach the Red Sea International Film Festival at Ritz-Carlton Jeddah and Al-Balad heritage venues, the Saudi Film Festival Dhahran at Ithra, and the AlUla Film Awards. We support remote grading via Streambox and Sohonet ClearView Flex for global DOPs. Pricing runs at SAR 3.75:1 USD, with 15% VAT and a Sunday-Thursday workweek.
