3D art and CGI talent across Saudi Arabia. We cover Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
A CGI artist creates computer-made visuals. These range from lifelike places and characters to subtle set extensions and unseen effects. In Saudi Arabia, CGI artists work inside set VFX pipelines. They do this at facilities like Nebras Films and AFLAM Productions. They model, texture, light, and render parts. These parts blend cleanly with live-action footage shot across Saudi locations.
We connect you with CGI artists who deliver top work. They serve features, series, and commercials in Saudi Arabia. Our network has pros in character animation, place creation, hard-surface modeling, and simulation. Each one is set to blend their work into Saudi and global visual effects pipelines. On Location
Saudi CGI — Maya / Houdini / Blender / Unreal 5 pipeline at NEOM XR Lab + Pixomondo Riyadh + Manga
Our Saudi CGI artists work in Autodesk Maya, SideFX Houdini, Blender, Nuke (compositing), Substance Painter / Designer, ZBrush, and Marvelous Designer. They use Unreal Engine 5 more and more for virtual production. This runs at NEOM XR Lab LED Volume and Pixomondo Riyadh LED Volume. Manga Productions Riyadh is a Saudi-Japan anime JV with Toei Animation (Future Folktales, Saud Rises). It runs its own 2D / 3D anime pipelines. These use Japanese ekonte storyboard and Genga / Douga (key + in-between) animation handoff. Recent global VFX-heavy shoots show the range. Kandahar (Gerard Butler 2023 AlUla + NEOM $43M dir. Ric Roman Waugh) and Desert Warrior (Anthony Mackie 2024 AlUla dir. Rupert Wyatt) are two. They handled CGI plate matchmove, sky replacement, car integration, and crowd duplication. Some of this was done in-country and some in Dubai (Filmworks Dubai / Image Nation Abu Dhabi / TwoFour54). We also do heritage CGI. This covers Diriyah Al-Turaif UNESCO 2010 First Saudi State reconstruction projects. It also covers Hegra / Madain Salih UNESCO 2008 Nabataean monument visuals. These brief from National Museum of Saudi Arabia Riyadh and Ministry of Culture historical archives.
Render-farm capacity sits at NEOM Bajdah Studios on-site DI room, Pixomondo Riyadh, and MBC Studios Riyadh and Jeddah. We also use AWS / Google Cloud Saudi-region cloud render. This meets NDMO (National Data Management Office) data-residency rules where they apply. Many schools feed the pipeline. These include Effat University Jeddah cinematic arts (first Saudi women's film school program), King Saud University Riyadh, and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. Manga Productions runs in-house anime training. NYU / USC / AFI / UCLA / Falmouth / NFTS UK / Gnomon Saudi alumni feed it too. We handle Arabic typography (right-to-left layout, contextual letterforms, kashida elongation) for any in-frame text. We also handle compliance. This covers Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) for IP / asset sign-ups. It covers GCAM type G/PG/PG12/PG15/R15/R18, GOSI payroll sign-ups, and 15% VAT. It covers Saudization Nitaqat quotas (5% rebates uplift on Cultural Development Fund's 40% cash rebates). The workweek runs Sunday-Thursday. Ramadan brings all-night 9pm-2am render-oversight shifts and prayer-time pauses. We arrange SFDA halal craft catering. Zero personal income tax makes senior CGI relocations very attractive. There is no domestic Saudi CGI union. Global VES / Animation Guild IATSE 839 work runs via Dubai EPS bureaus.
