SCENE 01 / CAMERA SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Camera Support Systems in Saudi Arabia
Professional camera support equipment for your Saudi production.
Camera support systems include tripods, fluid heads, sliders, jibs, dollies, and stabilization rigs. These tools give smooth, controlled camera movement. The right support gear is key. It helps a director and cinematographer build the look they want for each scene.
We source camera support systems for any scale. This ranges from light travel kits to heavy studio dollies and crane systems. Our team works with local grip and camera rental houses. They make sure the gear fits your camera package. It arrives on set tested, clean, and ready.

On Location
O'Connor 2575 and Sachtler Cine 30 heads, Ronford-Baker tripods, Steadicam M2, DJI Ronin 4D, and MovieTech sliders from MBC Studios and Filmquip Dubai.
We build Saudi camera support around the heads and tripods that MBC Studios stocks. Their Riyadh and Jeddah rental divisions carry these as standard. The list includes O'Connor 2575D and 2065 fluid heads, Sachtler Cine 30 and Cine 7+7, and Ronford-Baker Atlas 30 and F-7 heads. We add ARRI Master Wheels for stunt car work. These pair with Ronford-Baker Baby Standard and Tall sticks, Sachtler 150mm bowl tripods, and high-hat plates. The high-hats suit low-angle desert work in AlUla and the Empty Quarter. Stabilisation packages run deep through Telfaz11's commercial division and MBC's TV pipeline. We stock Steadicam M2 and Trinity rigs, DJI Ronin 4D and Ronin 2, MoVI Pro and XL gimbals, and Easyrig Vario 5 and Cinema 3 vests. We also cross-source Russian Arm, Ultimate Arm, and remote head packages (Scorpio, MotoCrane, Stab-C). These come through Filmquip Dubai and Picture Works Dubai via the 12-hour E11 highway corridor. MovieTech sliders, Chapman Hybrid IV dollies, and Mantis cranes ship in from Dubai when MBC inventory is booked elsewhere.
Several big shoots show how this plays out. Kandahar's NEOM chase sequences, Desert Warrior's AlUla stunts, Cherry's Apple TV+ AlUla unit, and the Wadjda-Sattar-Born a King narrative line all leaned on hybrid support stacks. On these, MBC's local heads pair with Bickers Action UK fly-in stunt rigs and Dubai-sourced crane packages. Our coordinators choose sand-rated dolly options. We use the Fisher 11 and Chapman Hybrid IV with sealed wheel bearings for Empty Quarter and AlUla shoots. The fine quartz dust on dune crests wrecks open wheel mechanisms in a single shoot day. Heat planning sits next to dust planning. June to September highs of 45-50°C strain gimbal motors and Steadicam centre-post hydraulics. So we run AC-trailer prep rotations and prayer-time pauses (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) to let gear cool down. ATA carnet routing through Saudi Customs (ZATCA) at RUH, JED, or ULH keeps zero duty on short-term import.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What tripod heads do you recommend?
For cinema cameras, we suggest the O'Connor 2575 or Sachtler Video 25. Both move smoothly and stay reliable. For lighter setups, the Sachtler FSB series works great. We match head capacity to your camera and lens package.
Can you provide dolly with track?
Yes. We supply full dolly packages with the dolly, track (straight and curved), and all the gear you need. We offer many track systems. They suit different floor types and shot needs.
Do you provide operators with equipment?
Yes. We can send skilled dolly grips, Steadicam operators, and crane techs with the gear. Skilled operators help you get the most from special support gear.
What about remote heads?
We offer remote heads like the Scorpio and Mōvi Pro for crane and car work. Remote heads give precise camera control. They work well for tricky moves where you can't operate by hand.
Can you handle heavy camera packages?
Yes. Our support systems hold cinema cameras from RED and ARRI. That includes full accessories, cine lenses, and wireless follow focus. We match the right head and tripod capacity to your full camera build.
What stabilization options are available?
We offer full Steadicam systems for hands-on operator work. We also stock gimbals like the Ronin and MōVI for electronic stabilization. And we provide Easyrig support for handheld comfort.
