It is the Kingdom's longest-standing film festival and the primary launch sites for emerging Saudi shorts.
Pre-production routes through two main authorities. The Saudi Film Commission handles foreign-crew accreditation. The Cultural Development Fund handles the 40% cash rebates (35% base plus a 5% Saudi-content uplift). Short films and web series qualify on the same spend basis as features.
